All land, North, East, West and South of us is Indigenous land. Borden Place is located is on Treaty 13 and Dish With One Spoon territory. This wampum covenant is a treaty between the Anishinaabe, Mississaugas and Haudenosaunee that bound them to share the territory and protect the land. We humbly live and work here and aim to abide by this covenant, to support Indigenous sovereignty and decolonize ourselves and our communities in solidarity with Indigenous peoples.
